The Department of Home Affairs (when it was the Department of Immigration and Border Protection) published a partner migration booklet.
The partner migration booklet has now been removed from the Department’s website but it can be found if you google for it.
Things are constantly changing in immigration – and particularly partner visas – so a word of caution if you are relying on this partner migration booklet; it quite out of date so it’s best to avoid – use at your own risk.
The booklet was helpful to give you high-level information, but not to get into the nitty-gritty of what a successful partner visa application actually requires and how you can set yourself up for success.
